Robert P. (Bob) McGinty

In May 1994, Robert P. (Bob) McGinty founded McGinty & Associates as a business brokerage firm. He has owned and operated a number of businesses throughout his career. These include accredited vocational medical and computer schools (located on three campuses), medical rehabilitation company, medical employment agency, employment agency, key man office and a small construction company.

Mr. McGinty's certifications include Certified Business Counselor (CBC), Certified Senior Business Analyst (CSBA), Primary Business Consultant (PBC), Professional Enhancement Consultant (PEC) and Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser (CMEA).

Mr. McGinty is also a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker Sales Agent with Florida Business Exchange, Inc. and a member in good standing in the following organizations:

Mr. McGinty has served on the international advisory board of Sunbelt Business Brokers, the Vice President and Treasurer of the north chapter of the Florida Business Brokers Association, State Board of Directors and the Education Committee for FBBA. Bob has also served as secretary for BBF and is presently the Southeast Regional Director for the National Equipment & Business Brokers Institute (NEBB).

Bob McGinty was featured in the Jacksonville Business Journal for his innovative approach to business marketing and consulting. Mr. McGinty has co-authored a book, E4, published 2003.

All our associated appraisers subscribe to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal practices. These standards deal with the procedures to be followed in developing an appraisal, analysis, or opinion and the manner in which it is communicated. The users of an appraisal should demand work performed in conformity with these standards. Our national team members frequently serve as expert witnesses in federal courts, as well as in state district courts throughout most of the United States. Our services and affiliates have been used for business asset appraisals, divorce settlements, estate settlements, partnership dissolutions, SBA loans, trust agreements, valuing intellectual property and patents, key man life insurance plans, determining insurable value, retirement planning, and shareholder disputes. Our clients include business owners, corporations, banks, attorneys and accountants.
